Northeast Business Webinar was an effort to bring the various sectors of the Startup Ecosystem across the Northeastern states together and form an international business collaboration, business summit, startup conclave, investor conclave and various competitions in the startup zone. The plan was to work on a theme of a startup festival to accelerate the trade and commerce of Northeast India with Southeast Asian countries. It aimed at bringing about socio, cultural and economic exchanges across the Southeast Asian countries with India through the Northeastern states.

The event was organised by Startup Assam in collaboration with various organizations in Northeast India. The idea behind the webinar was to generate discussions among the local entrepreneurs of the region to create a bridge with the neighbouring countries and exchange trade and commerce, facilitate import export for the various products that are developed in Northeast India.
