Startup Assam is a registered society under Societies Act (Registration No: RS/KAM (M)/263/Q/234).  Startup Assam was initiated with a few entrepreneurs of the region who have been working from Jan’2015 on the Startup Ecosystem of Northeast India. It has also organized around 30 programmes on monthly basis, aptly  named the Startup Saturday Guwahati Talks; three Business Plan competitions (2016 to 2018), mentored around  25 startups in the area, held 7 Startup Training workshops, with around a 100 members in the society.  Startup Assam also organized the Assam Hackathon in the October 2018 under Assam Science and Technology  University. The Northeast Hackathon was then organised by the team of Startup Assam, which saw participation  of over 350 colleges across Northeast India. Founded and mentored by professionals, Startup Assam has been working towards this cause since the last 5 years and has also been successful in touching the lives of hundreds  of promising youths.
